Rose Creek Abelia offers the gardener a better option for an Abelia that remains in bounds with minimum pruning. Lustrous leaves emerge with a pinkish cast on the crimson stems. Matures to dark green, then turns purple-green in winter. Small but fragrant white trumpet flowers bloom spring through summer. Small pink modified leaves at the base of each flower remain once the bloom fades. Excellent foundation plant for continuous seasonal change beneath windows. Add to mixed shrub borders or try as low hedge. Equally good in containers. Evergreen shrub. Full to partial sun. Fast growth 2 to 3 feet tall, 3 to 4 feet wide.
