Dorsett Golden is a somewhat small, yellow-green apple with a slight red blush when exposed to sunshine. A very low chill apple cultivar that can take the summer heat, as its origins from the Bahamas point to. Great taste and exceptional storage times have been noted of up to six weeks. We have found that they may be culled (thinned) to increase fruit sizes during apple growth, but do this very soon after you ascertain that you have pollinated fruits.
