The Mutsu (AKA Crispin) Apple is a large to very large , mostly round in shape apple that has a green skin with a slightly orange colored blush to it. The flesh is very white and coarse, firm, crisp and juicy with a slightly acidic taste. The fruit ripens in late October to first of November. Fruit stores very well and does not shrivel as many other long stored apples do.
