The thornless blackberry cultivar 'Navajo' is an erect introduction from the University of Arkansas' well respected breeding program. Yields in the field trials in Arkansas are high. The berries are moderate in size very sweet in flavor. Can almost be grown as a shrub as the habit is quite upright; we grown ours on trellis supports to gain more fruiting canes.
