Moonglow Pear is the Pear for home gardens. It is a medium-large, dull yellow fruit with a pink blush and it's white flesh is mildly juicy, soft and has a smooth texture. It has almost no grit cells (unlike Kieffer and some older varieties) which give it an excellent, mild flavor and which also makes it an excellent pair for fresh use or for canning. Ripens in late summer in our area.
