An incredible black violet Daylily with lighter midribs and a lime-yellow throat. It has slightly ruffled petals which presents an interesting design to compliment its spectacular coloring. Catherine Neal was introduced in 1981 by Jack Carpenter of Center, Texas. Originally reported to be a very late blooming Daylily, we have them in bloom in mid summer here at the Nursery. It is also a rebloomer and quite spectacular on it stately stalks. Sure to be one of your favorite Daylilies.
