Creeping Raspberry is a unique, densely branched trailing ground cover which is hardy and attractive in shady settings as well as sunny ones. An excellent moderate- to fast-spreading low maintenance Groundcover for both urban and rural settings. Good for erosion control, often used as a soil binder on moderate to large sloping areas. Well suited to roadside plantings and as a large scale facing for tree and shrub borders. It is not just for ditches or slopes: Creeping Raspberry looks particularly nice when grown in a raised bed or planter, rambling over rocks, and cascading over a wall or out of containers. Has a pretty summer flower and small fruits with are enjoyed by the birds.
