'Carolina Nugget Improved' Lantana Plants possess the same size flowers as most varieties but have a much improved mounding habit, as well as its heat and drought tolerance. Trailing up to 4-feet, they are sought after to add that tropical ambiance to patios and decks, but are also being used as an perennial landscape application in the south.

With an extended blooming season, they are butterfly magnets, but also highly valued by hummingbirds and honey bees! Most Carolina Nugget ImprovedLantanas will have bi-colored, fragrant flowers. If you’ve heard the opposite, it is the leaves that have an unpleasant odor when crushed or bruised, though some gardeners claim they have a citrus scent.
